Mainsail

Since the mainsail is the sail that you use most, it must be versatile enough to handle strong winds, yet designed to perform well in lighter winds, as well. Mainsails come in a wide variety of construction methods, fabrics and batten configurations. Choosing the correct main depends on your boat and how you use it.
