UK Sailmakers Win 2025 MC Scow Nationals

With a highly competitive fleet of 92 boats on the line, Ryan Grosch sailed fast, smart, and steady to secure a commanding victory at the 2025 MC Scow Nationals, finishing 13 points clear of second place. His consistency across the series set the tone for the event. Doug Wake, new to MC sailing, impressed with a third-place finish overall and first place in the singlehanded and light weight divisions, underscoring how quickly a newcomer can get up to speed with a UK PS1 sail.

Vicki Clayton earned top woman honors, while many other UK-powered teams also showed strong performances, regularly appearing near the front of the fleet. At the awards ceremony, second-place finisher and past National Champion, Kenny Wolfe, remarked on just how fast Grosch was throughout the regatta.

UK Sailmakers continue to dominate the MC class, with sails consistently winning at major regattas and fleet races across the country. UK Sailmakers Chicago offers three proven shapes: the versatile PS1 (AP), our most popular design; the PS2, favored by larger sailors or for wavier conditions; and the H (Heavy), a specialty sail for heavy-air, targeting lighter teams sailing without a crew.
