The Manufacturing Excellence

- Advanced Lamination with PET Film – At just 1.3 micrometers thick, PET film is incredibly tough, resisting heat, UV exposure, and shrinkage to create an exceptionally durable foundation.
- Precision Yarn Placement – Structural carbon fibers are applied continuously from corner to corner, eliminating seam loads, wrinkles, and distortion for long-term shape retention.
- Thermoform Fusion Bonding – The skin-yarn-skin structure is heat and UV bonded under vacuum pressure, creating a single, seamless membrane stronger than the sum of its parts.
- Optimized Seam Design – Seams are used only to shape the sail film, not for structural integrity, preventing seam failures common in other high-tech sails.
- Expert Finishing and Hardware Installation – Every sail is fine-tuned and equipped for optimal performance straight out of the bag.

LiteSkin or Taffeta – Your Choice
Early Titanium sails featured an exposed PET film on the exterior, making them exceptionally lightweight but more vulnerable to wear from tacking and sail handling. Today, Titanium sails are made with a protective layer of LiteSkin® or taffeta on their surface, significantly extending their peak performance lifespan with minimal added weight.
LiteSkin® is a thin, non-woven polyester layer applied to the sail’s outer surfaces, giving it a matte black or dark grey finish. It comes in two weights—10×10 for added durability and 5×5, which is half the weight for minimal impact on performance.
