UPDATED IRC CALCULATOR AVAILABLE NOW

UK Sailmakers is excited to announce the release of a new and improved IRC Calculator, making it easier than ever to determine time corrections between competitors on the racecourse. This tool is designed to help racers calculate how much time they owe or are owed by their competitors, allowing for smarter tactical decisions during a race and aiding pre-race strategy.

Key Features:

  • Add an unlimited number of boats to compare corrected time differences.
  • Save and print your results as a PDF for easy reference on the water.
  • Quickly access accurate calculations for the IRC Time on Time (ToT) rating system.

Understanding IRC Ratings

IRC is a rating rule that assigns each boat a Time Correction Coefficient (TCC). This TCC is calculated based on the boat’s measured and rated data, ensuring fair and competitive racing between different boat types. The calculator uses the entered TCC for each competitor to generate corrected time differences over various race durations.
