ONE DESIGN WIN AT OK DINGHY OPEN

UK Sailmakers Denmark is proud to announce the success of our One Design sails at the 2024 OK Dinghy DM Open, held earlier this month at Køge Sailing Club. This event, a highlight of the OK Dinghy sailing calendar, featured 120 sailors registered from Denmark, Norway, Sweden, Germany, Poland, Spain, and Thailand. It was the largest OK Dinghy event of the year, reflecting the growing prestige of the competition.

Bo Petersen from Hellerup Sailing Club delivered a standout performance. With finishes of 1st, 1st, 1st, 4th, and 1st, Bo secured the overall victory in commanding fashion, expertly navigating the challenging, gusty winds at Køge.

Bo’s success highlights his skill and the performance of UK Sailmakers’ OK Dinghy One Design sails. These precision-engineered sails powered him to another proud victory, reinforcing UK Sailmakers Denmark as a global leader in One Design sailmaking.

The event showcased international sailing talent, with 105 sailors competing in strong winds that tested even the most experienced. Despite the tough conditions, the enthusiasm and sportsmanship on display made this year’s OK Dinghy DM Open a memorable event.
