UK Sailmakers Miami, located in the Coconut Grove area, is seeking a motivated individual to join our team! We’re looking for someone who enjoys hands-on work, can sew, assist on the loft floor, and works well with others.
This full-time position involves building and repairing sails, canvas, and shades in a fully air-conditioned indoor facility.
Hours: Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Use of power and hand tools
- Cutting fabric and webbing, measuring sails
- Hand sewing and preparing sail/canvas components for assembly
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of experience in upholstery, awning, or similar hands-on work
- Attention to detail and ability to follow precise measurements
- Sewing experience is an asset but not required
- Physically capable of lifting up to 30 lbs
- Must have valid work authorization, a Social Security Number, and the ability to communicate in English
