UK Sailmakers San Diego carries the group’s oldest heritage on the West Coast — established in 1946 as Ulmer Sails, UK Sailmakers is one of the oldest groups of sail lofts in North America, now with around 50 lofts and service centers worldwide. The San Diego office on Shelter Island Drive handles sail and canvas sales, onboard measurements, and installations for Southern California sailors.
Sales are led by John Bennett, backed by the full UK Sailmakers network — Titanium and X-Drive construction, Matrix spinnakers, and the group’s shared design library.
