ABOUT THIS LOFT
Sailmaking in the sailing capital of Turkey
One of the biggest sailmakers in Turkey, MSS Yelken Imalat Sanayi ve Ltd. Sti., opened a new loft in Marmaris in 2012 as a member of the UK Sailmakers group. This region is the sailing capital of Turkey and a real pearl of the Mediterranean. Experienced professionals working in a factory area of more than 2,200 square metres produce high-quality custom sails using the most advanced technologies. We not only produce new sails, covers, tents and sail bags, but also provide all the service our customers need, including repair, rigging, winter service and storage.
UK Sailmakers Turkiye, the brand's international partner, began production in Istanbul in 2001. To answer more effectively the demand that came with growing confidence in the brand, UK Sailmakers moved its factory to Marmaris, a place closer to the heart of sailing. With 2,250 square metres of covered area and a 950 square metre loft floor, it is one of the brand's largest lofts, and its experienced team continues to deliver high-quality service from a factory modernised with developing technologies.
