JENK is based out of Seru Boca Marina in Willemstad, Curaçao. The crew, a group of friends from Curaçao and Bonaire, sailed JENK from Curaçao to St. Maarten for the Heineken Regatta in early March and now that the BVI Spring Regatta has concluded, the team plans is sailing the boat back to Curaçao.

The main trimmer aboard JENK, Marinus Woedemom, was pleased with the team’s victory and the beautiful sailing conditions. “We don’t have a lot of boats to race against at home, so this is much better. We train about once a week and do races in Aruba, Bonaire and Curaçao when we can.”

JENK also placed first in the Performance Cruiser Division at the 2023 Scrub Island Invitational Regatta earlier that week. The picturesque 11-nautical-mile race served as a fun warmup for the team ahead of the main event at the BVI Spring Regatta which celebrates it's 50th anniversary this year.
